Dark ecolologies: What is dark ecology? It is ecological awareness, dark- depressing. Yet ecological awareness is also dark-uncanny. And strangely it is dark-sweet.

This is not a show about the end of the world...

This is about coexistence in the Anthropocene.

Inspired by the theories of Timothy Morton, a show on dark ecologies seeks to destabilize an idealized Nature, green consumerism, or any self-assured environmentalism.

How do we creatively move forward from the melancholy of a poisoned planet?

Why am I better than a mushroom? Might poisonous mushrooms save the planet faster than we ever could?

Is environmentalism the new Great Chain of Being?
